In Las Cruces we find that our seniors are an active and important part of our community. The City of Las Cruces has 4 senior centers, and offers a variety of services and programs that include transportation, hot meals, in-home services, volunteer opportunities, arts and crafts and exercise programs, and educational and recreational classes. For additional educational opportunities, seniors can take part in the Academy for Learning in Retirement, which offered through Dona Ana Branch Community College.

If you choose to live in an active seniors community you will find even more activities available to you. We have 3 55+ gated communities: The Boulders on the Sonoma Ranch Golf Course, Fairway Village on the Picacho Hills Golf Course, and Trails West, which is an upscale senior community of manufactured homes.
